About Heather

The Heather School community prides itself on high expectations for student achievement and success in academic endeavors. With broad community support and a very talented and dedicated staff focusing on best practices in teaching and learning, we enable students to achieve these expectations.

After School Activities

Heather offers a rich assortment of after-school activities for local children. All children are welcome to register.  Choose from basketball, chess, math, science, art and more.  For complete information, please visit the district’s Smart-E Camps website.

Summer Camps!

SMART-E Camps are run by highly qualified professionals, and maintain a staff to student ratio of approximately 1:8. Our hands-on curriculum is designed by instructional designers who have designed camps, museum labs, and school programs to ensure the highest quality camp experience.

Heather Preschool

The San Carlos School District Preschool Program offers a developmental, play-based, multi-sensory learning environment, with multi-age groupings for children aged three through five years.  Our preschool is located on the Heather Elementary School campus,  is open M-F from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
